PPC Conforms to RoHS and WEEE.

Complying with the RoHS and WEEE directives from the European Union

PPC finds it important to protect and preserve our environment. Our efforts include ISO 14001 and 9001certifications as well as programs to ensure that we are complying with the RoHS and WEEE directives from the European Union.

RoHS governs the use of hazardous materials in the production of electrical and electronic equipment. PPC complies with all specifications in the directive.

WEEE governs the management and disposal of electrical and electronic equipment. PPC products are not directly governed by this directive, as we only produce parts for systems, not equipment which operates on electricity in itself. However, PPC does have systems in place handling all kinds of waste from our own products, and as such we comply with the directive. This does of course also mean that we are able and ready to advice our customers on the correct handling and disposal of any of our products.

For questions regarding RoHS and WEEE in relation to PPC products, please contact Plant Manager Mr. Peter Sander at our plant in Denmark.
